Brewing loose leaf tea is easier than you think.  We've come a long way since the messy tea balls.  There are so many new infusers on the market to suit any speed of life.  We love our designer cup with the stainless steel infuser and lid, our tea infusers that fit into most cups, and our unique over the cup tea infuser. For on the go brewing our paper tea filters or travel press mugs do the job.  

Easiest way to brew fresh loose leaf tea:

Step 1: Place one teaspoon of tea into the tea infuser of your choice and place tea infuser into tea mug

Step 2: Boil filtered water in an electric kettle and bring to correct temperature before pouring over tea leaves as follows. 

For boiling water at a rolling boil, wait two minutes then pour over black tea leaves or herbal teas.

For white tea and green tea, remove boiling water from heat source or turn off kettle.  Let cool for 5 minutes, then pour over green tea or white tea leaves.  Alternatively, heat water just until steam arises and tiny bubbles start floating up to the surface and then popping. Then pour over green tea or white tea leaves.

Step 3:  Steep the tea for 3-5 minutes.  For herbal teas steep the herbal infusion for 5-7 minutes.  Experiment with the tea steeping times until you find the tea or herbal infusion flavor that you prefer the best.  Enjoy!
